A rare opportunity to join GPs on Curzon a large busy practice in Toowoomba, Queensland.

GPs on Curzon offers a wide range of comprehensive medical services including family medicine, women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, chronic disease management, immunisations (childhood and travel) as well as pre-employment and immigration medicals.
We are looking for a GP with:
  • Vocational registration
  • Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA
to work either part or full time in our fully accredited, GP-owned, full computerised ( Best Practice) , private billing practice.
We offer full administration and nursing support. Pathology collection and radiology are within the same complex as well as numerous differing specialists.
We are open 8.30 am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We have extended opening hours until 7.00pm on a Thursday night and from 8.30am until 11.30pm on a Saturday.

Practice nurse required for our busy general practice

Practice Nurses requirements:

  • APRHA Registered Nurse qualification
  • MUST HAVE 6-18 months Practice Nurse experience in General Practice
  • Medical software – Best Practice
  • Must be able to multi-task and be very organised 
  • Experience with CDM, Health assessments, immunisations and minor surgery
  • Ability to monitor and order medical supplies
  • Phlebotomy
  • Accreditation experience with RACGP
  • An interest in health promotion and working with PENCAT
  • A self -starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CPR certification
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Skills to mentor medical receptionists with triage
  • Recalls and reminders using Hot Docs
  • Managing treatment room appointment book and ability to foresee problems
  • If you are a RN, ability to supervise EENs if required
