Dr Jess Madsen moved to Toowoomba for her medical internship in 2014 and has since made it her home.
In addition to her medical degree from Griffith University, Jess holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Graduate Certificate of Travel Medicine, both from James Cook University. She enjoys providing pre and post-travel healthcare. Jess is an accredited yellow fever vaccination provider.
Jess is interested in preventative healthcare and chronic disease care. She strives to consider the relationship between physical, psychological, emotional and social aspects of health for all of her patients. She is an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at local parks with her husband, daughter and Golden Retriever.
