Vaccines are very sensitive to change in temperature during all stages of their production and use. If the change is great enough, the efficacy of the vaccine can be significantly reduced. GPs on Curzon have suppliers who ship vaccines to us that are monitored throughout their entire journey. We also have a special fridge and monitoring system to that ensure once vaccines reach our practice, they are kept in the correct way. This way, we can be sure that you are receiving a high quality vaccine.
We endeavor to have numerous available private vaccines in stock for your convenience but request you ring at least 1 week ahead of your planned private vaccine to ensure that it will be available.
As we do not have large amounts of room in this specialized fridge and because we wish to ensure the efficacy of the vaccine, we cannot store vaccines that are purchased elsewhere and brought into the practice unless it is to be used that day.
